Here's what is happening in this week's advisory, October 11th:
9th grade: As we move toward creating those soft skills with students, our advisory lesson will focus on team building and working cooperatively with peers. Teachers will go over a PowerPoint about team building before students participate in The Bank Robbery lesson. The lesson plan and slideshow have been uploaded to the 9th grade advisory folder. Materials are ready for pickup in Room 322. See Brannock with questions.
10th grade: Students will be completing a lesson on "How to Get and Keep a Job." They will be looking through job applications and what is needed to apply for jobs, as well as the required paperwork for new jobs. Materials will be ready for pickup in Room 322 during 7th period. By the end of the day, the lesson plan and slideshow will be available in the 10th grade advisory folder AND google classroom (student sign-up code: nlqsfu6) See Alvey with questions.

12th grade: Students will be completing a lesson about "bullying as adults" and how the use of mean humor and apathetic behavior can keep them from post-secondary opportunities. They will be completing a hands-on activity with toothpaste. Materials are ready for pickup in Room 322. Please grab everything from your folders!
